The Dare County Democratic Party today announced its upcoming August Day of Action scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026. The major grassroots mobilization effort features three distinct neighborhood canvasses structured to reach voters directly in their communities across Dare County, signaling the official start of the party’s critical fall push toward the November election.

Every election cycle carries claims of being "the most important election of our lives," but with pivotal contests ranging from top-of-the-ticket statewide seats to crucial local representation, 2026 represents a landmark moment for North Carolina voters. The conversations had today will directly determine what happens in November.

Volunteers will hit the pavement across the Outer Banks to build momentum for an outstanding Democratic team, including:

• Don Davis

• Local Democratic Candidates

"The road to victory in November starts right now.
