Wanted to provide everyone with an update on last night's (8/12) speaker event on Voter Integrity & Accessibility and Voter Connectivity. Randy Fenninger (Secretary, Board of Elections) provided insightful information on the state of the Dare County's voter security/integrity. The good new -- Dare County's voting machines are in excellent shape, are not connected to the internet so really can't be hacked and the detailed audit protocols are mind-boggling. They are tedious and extremely detailed. It definitely gave me a sense of pride and faith in the Dare County election results. Obviously, this may not be the case around the country.

Bob Muller, Dare Democrats Organizing Director, spoke on how each of us has a talent that could help with getting Democrats elected in this year's most important mid-term election. The bottom line - if we can get the registered Democrats to come out and vote WE WIN. 

And if that wasn't enough, we had a special drop-in by Melissa for NC Senate. In typical Melissa style; she was AWESOME!
