Dare County Democratic Party announces the formation of new Buxton, Frisco & Hatteras Precinct

The Dare County Democratic Party launched a new precinct on Hatteras Island covering the villages of Buxton, Frisco & Hatteras. The newly formed precinct elected the following individuals: Trip Lineberry, Chairman (Hatteras Village), Vicki West, Vice Chair (Frisco Village) and Heather Euler, Secretary (Buxton Village).
The primary purpose of the Buxton, Frisco & Hatteras precinct is to expand engagement & encourage political participation of local residents on the south end of Hatteras Island. The precinct leaders want to meet all voters, listen to their individual concerns and specific needs, and build a forum where residents can interact with local Democratic candidates and party officials who will share their current ideas for positive change. The plan is to discuss practical political solutions, and where appropriate, formulate them as policy proposals.
Democrats, Independents & disaffected Republicans are encouraged to get involved, attend precinct meetings, and support candidates who align with the Democratic Party’s and the community’s values.
