  • Katherine: Are you familiar with email address harvesting/scraping by spammers/scammers from websites and email obfuscation? I looked into how SS handles this. Seems SS does not have anything built in to protect against it - other than using Contact Forms. I'm looking at using a Code Block with custom code as I've done in the past but not successful yet. Think it's worth the effort?

Domain

When site is live:

  • (Bob Muller) - newsletter signup sends email confirmation with link to Dare Dems site. Verify.

  • (DD) - verify NCDP site’s link to new site

  • DD - When available, from NCDP, add link for ballot ready tool

After Go-Live

  • Access to Calendar - Bob, precincts, DWOD can draft own items, Allen/Donna review/approve

  • table of About Us - try table again (Donna)

  • Contact Elected Officials page - update after election, add images and icons

  • Instagram - gave Bob Muller access so he can post GOTV events - can he access? (probably has no time to do this!)

Miriam’s List

  • As discussed, is there any way to put boxes around the navigation buttons on top (or, if that’s not possible, to put a blue dot before each one)?
    I worked on this again. Everything I read indicates in can only be done with custom code. I’m hesitant to start using that option. - AM

  • Under “Dare Dems in Action” page, when you’ve clicked on any item in the middle, and it’s showing the title of the prior one and the title of the next one below the item clicked on — the two are kind of close; any way to separate them with a little more space between?

  • I didn’t do the “mobile view”, to check out spacing there… Would one of you be able to do that?
    I’ve looked at this a bit and improved some things. The Calendar page could look better but I think it’s more of a missing content
    situation. The Home page has a large logo that appears when the page is first loaded in Desktop view but then disappears. Intentional?
    It doesn’t work well for Mobile view - maybe just delete it? - AM
